Daily 10:00am - 5:00pm* The museum is closed on Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

The historic campus and outer galleries and exhibits are open during the summer season (April 1 – November 30). The Heritage Center and connecting galleries are open year-round.

Admission to the museum is based on an individual, daily rate. Please visit our admissions page for more details.

Yes. Discounted rates are available for groups of 20 or more. Pre-registration is required and the group must provide one form of payment as a group to receive the special rate. Please check out our Group Visits page for more information and current rates.

Yes. Active military with a valid ID receive free admission.

The Gilmore Car Museum Library and Research Facility is currently not open to the general public.

Yes. The museum is handicap accessible, including two personal elevators allowing access to second floors. A limited number of wheelchairs (free) and mobility scooters (a $30 daily rental fee) are available for those who may need assistance. Please ask one of our Museum Store attendants upon your arrival for assistance.
You are allowed to bring your own scooter as well.

Yes. Cameras are strongly encouraged in all buildings and galleries! If you are a professional photographer looking to utilize our venue, please review our Photo Policy.

Yes. The museum has a parking area, located in front of the Automotive Heritage Center. This parking area is specifically designated for RVs, motor homes and tour buses and is designed to comfortably fit six semi tractor-trailer rigs with easy access. For those that arrive during our weekend shows, we open our 90-acre site to accommodate over flow for tow vehicles, RVs and other large vehicles.

Yes. Pets are allowed outside on museum grounds. Pets are not permitted in any building or gallery. All pets must be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.

Yes. The museum offers education tours to K-12 student groups for free. To arrange a student tour, please email Education Director, Fred Colgren, or call (269) 617-5089, Ext. 21. Learn more about school group visits.

Yes. The museum has the ability to host an array of special events and corporate meetings. For more information, please email our Events & Beverage Manager, Ashley Wendland, or call (269) 671-5089, Ext. 20 for information on renting our facility.
