Winter Motoring Meet
Just gonna send it!
Join us for the third annual Winter Motoring Meet at the Gilmore Car Museum, a day of outdoor fun in Michigan’s winter weather! Enjoy scenic rides around the snow-covered campus in several of the museum’s classic cars and trucks, see a special exhibit of snowmobiles, ORVs, and 4x4s, and play some games. Then, warm up by the outdoor fire with a bowl of soup, a gourmet hot chocolate, a winter beer, a glass of wine, or your favorite cocktail.
While the exhibit is planned as a static display, and does NOT include a snowmobile ride event, if snow conditions permit on the day of the event, organizers will hold Power Parade low-speed exhibition laps on the museum’s groomed circle track, scheduled decade-by-decade:
11:45 am - 12:00 pm: 60’s and Older
12:15 pm - 12:30 pm: 70’s & 80’s
12:45 pm - 1:00 pm: 90’s & Newer
1:15 pm - 1:30 pm: All Vehicles
1:00 pm - 1:45 pm: Ice Harvesting Presentation in the Ballroom
2:00 pm - 2:15 pm: Best Dressed Vintage Snowsuit Contest at the Shell Station
Additionally, feel free to bring your own snowshoes or cross-country skis for a trek across our 90-acre campus!
