Mark your calendars - the party is at the Gilmore Car Museum on October 1st! Shake Baby Shake is an explosive retrospective stage show of the golden age of Rock & Roll! The talented Lance Lipinsky, original cast member of the Tony award winning musical Million Dollar Quartet, will be taking the stage to help us celebrate the birth of the Rock & Roll era in America. Performing the hits of major artists of the 1950's and 60's such as Jerry Lee Lewis, Buddy Holly, Elvis, Chuck Barry and more!
Lance will be performing classics of the 1950's and 60s alongside his show band, The Lovers, and will be supported by the additional vocal talents of The Lovettes (as seen on PBS) to bring us a unique night of music that is sure to leave you feeling "All Shook Up."
Gates open at 6:30pm, then at 7:00pm there will be an optional beginners dance lesson hosted by the Kalamazoo Ballroom Academy to help you add some new moves to your groove - all ages welcome! The music will begin at 7:30pm and will be accompanied by hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, silent auction, and rides around our gorgeous museum campus in classic cars to match the era.
Boogie Woogie your way to the Gilmore Car Museum next month to jump start October with a Twist!
