Hoods Up! Engines on Display
For two special weeks in March, the hoods will be raised on all the vehicles inside the Gilmore Car Museum, and their engines will be showcased!Whether 1960s big block muscle, inline fours, vintage V8s, or early air-cooled engines, they’ll all be on display for certified gearheads to explore and enjoy.
The opportunity to check out Hoods Up! Engines on Display is included in your regular admission. Several Horsepower Tours will be available throughout the two week period. These tours are part of museum admission.
They will occur on the following days at the following times:
- Wednesday, 3/9 at 10:30 am MOPARs & AMC
- Saturday, 3/12 at 1:00 pm Pontiacs & GTO
- Wednesday, 3/16 at 10:30 am GM & Camaro
- Saturday, 3/19 at 1:00 pm Fords & Shelby

No, much like going to a Detroit Tigers game, you cannot get a refund simply because you can no longer make it. You are in charge of finding a person to purchase that ticket from you or giving it to someone else to use.
Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable between persons.

George & Sally's Blue Moon Diner in open daily.

Gilmore Car Museum relies on sales from food and beverage to stay in operation.

Smoking is prohibited inside any buildings. The designated smoking area is outside while at least 25 feet away from buildings.
Smoking marijuana is strictly prohibited on museum grounds.
