Congress of Motorcars & Family Day
Congress of Motorcars & Family Day is an event the entire family will enjoy, featuring vintage car rides and carnival games, pre-1942 pass in vehicles, slot car racing from 10:00am - 1:00pm, crank start demonstration, 1 and 2 cylinder races, roaming music from Old Thyme Harmony barbershop quartet, and $1 regular hot dogs (excludes specialty dogs).
This show is only open to pre-1942 vehicles. Only original, stock-appearing vehicles are eligible to participate. No modified or hot rod style vehicles, please.
Dash plaques given to the first 200 show vehicles to enter the gate!
* Please note museum memberships provide for free spectator admission, but not free participant or vendor admission.

Classic Car Driving Tour
The Gilmore Car Museum will take you on a guided tour through the picturesque backroads of Southwest Michigan with a few fun stops along the way. To participate, simply show-up at the museum in your pre-1942 car at 8:00am on Friday. We hit the road promptly at 9:00am and return around 4:00pm.
- Take a guided tour of historic Pine Creek Indian Reservation
- Show your classic car to the students of the Factoryville Christian School
- Enjoy lunch at any one of three different establishments in the quaint town of Mendon
- Finish the tour back on the grounds of the Gilmore Car Museum

No. Much like going to a professional sporting event, you cannot get a refund because you can no longer make it. Guests are in charge of finding a person to purchase that ticket or giving it to someone else to use.
Tickets are non-refundable, but are transferable between persons.

George & Sally's Blue Moon Diner in open daily.

Gilmore Car Museum relies on sales from food and beverage to stay in operation.

Smoking is prohibited inside any buildings. The designated smoking area is outside while at least 25 feet away from buildings.
Smoking marijuana is strictly prohibited on museum grounds.

Yes. Pets are allowed outside on museum grounds. Pets are not permitted in any building or gallery. All pets must be on a leash at all times and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet.
