(Hickory Corners, Mich. / July 28, 2021) - The Kalamazoo Antique Auto Restorers Club (KAARC) is pleased to present the 40th Annual Red Barns Spectacular car show on Saturday, August 7th, 2021 from 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM ET, on the grounds of the Gilmore Car Museum.

The Red Barns Spectacular has been an annual “can't miss” show for community car clubs and enthusiasts from all over the Midwest, who have been faithfully attending the event for the past 40 years. Spectators look forward to seeing hundreds of privately-owned classic cars, campers, bicycles and boats on display across the museum’s show fields, alongside the historic barns and buildings containing the its world-class indoor car collection, all surrounded by pristine rural countryside on M-43, just north of Gull Lake.

Guests are encouraged to come out to celebrate all eras of vehicles. “Whether you own a barn-find survivor, resto-mod, classic, hot rod, sports car, fire truck or orphan car from a bygone era, it doesn’t matter,” said Jim Holland, member of the KAARC and Chair of the Red Barns Spectacular. “If your vehicle is from 1996 or older, it is wanted at this show!”

The Red Barns Spectacular features a 100-Point Judged Show, where car owners enter to compete for awards across 16 different classes, and for the coveted Best In Show award. The event also includes a separate Drivers Choice Show, where the drivers of participating show cars vote for their own favorite cars at the show, to identify Top 25 awards.

In addition to all of the show cars on display, the event provides attendees with a massive eight-acre vendor and swap meet area, to shop for that unique part you just can’t find anywhere else. People looking for more than parts can also visit the cars for sale area, to find anything from rusty dreams to nice drive-aways.
