Popular Craft Beer Tasting Fundraiser Returns to Car Museum on February 12th
(Hickory Corners, Mich. / January 18, 2022) – If you’re like most people you may have cabin fever, be yearning for spring, or looking for something fun and unique to do in honor of Valentine’s Day. The event has been referred to as “the only place to drink a Michigan-brewed beer alongside an ultra-rare Tucker ’48 Sedan – unless you have one parked in the garage.”
Pint With The Past, one of Gilmore Car Museum’s premiere fundraising events, returns for its ninth year this Saturday, February 12th. At this year’s event, guests will enjoy themselves amid the vintage cars and special exhibits showcasing Corvettes and the evolution of America's sports car, race cars with Michigan roots, and a new Mustang versus Camaro mini exhibit while they sip their way through various tasting and appetizer stations mixed throughout the museum galleries.
Those attending Pint With The Past will have the opportunity to sample local craft brews, local wines, and spirits while delighting in a variety of heavy appetizers. Music for the evening will be provided by local favorite Out of Favor Boys, who have developed a reputation as an entertaining and interactive contemporary blues band. Additionally, guests can enjoy the easy-listening music of guitarist, Jack Dastoli, in the muscle car gallery.
Don’t forget to dress as your best flapper, gangster, or rum runner for our costume contest! Guests can also make memories with friends at several photo ops located throughout the museum.
Pint with the Past is open to those 21 and older. The evening runs from 7 pm – 10 pm on Saturday, February 12th and makes a perfect Valentine’s weekend event.
