Winter Motoring Meet
Just gonna send it!
Join us for the second annual Winter Motoring Meet at the Gilmore Car Museum, a day of outdoor fun in Michigan’s winter weather! Enjoy scenic rides around the snow-covered campus in several of the museum’s classic cars and trucks, see a special exhibit of vintage snowmobiles (1992 & older), and play some games. Then, warm up by the outdoor fire with a bowl of soup, a gourmet hot chocolate, a winter beer, a glass of wine, or your favorite cocktail.
While the vintage snowmobile exhibit is planned as a static display, and does NOT include a snowmobile ride event, if snow conditions permit on the day of the event, organizers will hold vintage snowmobile Two-Stroke Power Parade low-speed exhibition laps on the museum’s groomed circle track, scheduled decade-by-decade:
11:00am – 11:20am ET: 1970s Snowmobiles
12:00pm – 12:20pm: 1950s & earlier Snowmobiles
1:00pm – 1:20pm: 1960s Snowmobiles
2:00pm – 2:20pm: Vintage Racing Snowmobiles (all eras)
3:00pm – 3:20pm: 1980s & 1990s Snowmobiles
Additionally, feel free to bring your own snowshoes or cross-country skis for a trek across our 90-acre campus!
