Experience History First Hand ... FOR FREE!
Organized educational groups are welcome to visit the Gilmore Car Museum FREE OF CHARGE!
Gilmore Car Museum's educational programs use the Museum's unique, world-class collection to teach students about the history and heritage of the American automobile and industry, while diving into diverse subjects - from Geography to History to Science and beyond! And, at no additional fee, our trained educators will teach a lesson in your classroom, or at the Museum, before your classroom's personalized tour.
In addition to K-12 student programs, the Gilmore Car Museum offers literacy-based educational programs designed for Early Childhood Education. These programs are uniquely prepared for pre-school children and are designed to provide them with a variety of touch, sight, and sound opportunities throughout the Museum!
Please view our Education Guide for a complete list of available programs. Programs can also be tailored to a classroom's needs, upon request!
Questions? Scheduling a tour? Need a personalized lesson plan? Please contact our Education Director, Fred Colgren, at 269-671-5089 ext. 21 or by email at Education@GilmoreCarMuseum.org!
