Walt Disney and Pedal Cars

Only here can you see the one-of-a-kind movie set and car from the 1967 Walt Disney movie, THE GNOME-MOBILE.

Museum founder Donald Gilmore and Walt Disney were friends and after the move wrapped Donald purchased the Rolls-Royce from the studio for the cost of shipping. Walt then gave the original movie set to Donald.

The 1930 Rolls-Royce Sedanca Deville used in that film, starring Walter Brennan and Ed Wynn, is here on display next to the authentic movie set of the car's back seat.

The oversized movie set is an exact re-creation of the rear seat of the 1930 Rolls Royce which is actually almost four times larger than life.

Over 100 vintage children's pedal cars and toys fill in the exhibit area.
