Rare Bird’s Eye Maple Wagon!
The wood used in this vehicle was harvested at Ford Motor Company’s Iron Mountain, MI forest facility. Henry Ford would not allow the use
of “figured” wood—such as Bird’s Eye Maple—until there was enough for
a complete vehicle. Mr. Ford himself then selected what dealers would
receive these very rare models.
